Child Rock Climbing

Chedworth Roman Villa

Visit the ruins of one of the largest Romano-British villas in the country. Set in a wooded Cotswold valley, the site was originally excavated in 1864. Over a mile of walls survives and there are several fine mosaics, two bathhouses, hypocausts, a water shrine, and latrine. Get close to the mosaics, some of which were excavated in 2013, on state-of-the-art walkways.

Lodge Park and Sherbone Estate

Lodge Park is a unique example of a 17th century deer course and park. The grandstand, an ornate stone building dating from 1634, has been extensively restored. It provides fine views of the course and surrounding parkland. Family walks on the Sherborne Park Estate with sculptures.

Corinium Museum
