Cotswolds area of natural beauty
"Help to keep the Cotswolds National Landscape special"
The Cotswolds National Landscape is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, looked after by a small team working in partnership with a number of other organisations. The team’s offices are upstairs at The Old Prison.
The Cotswolds National Landscape team works to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the Cotswolds; to increase understanding and enjoyment of its special qualities; and to foster the social and economic well-being of local communities.
The core team of employees is supported by nearly 400 voluntary wardens; and 37 board members drawn from local authorities, parish councils and appointments made by the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs.
The Cotswolds National Landscape is a celebrated designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), but like many protected landscapes, the Cotswolds is under greater pressure than ever before. By contributing a donation, you will be making a direct contribution to support the natural environment and heritage of this special landscape for the future.
